    Ready to move on from copper enameling? Silver, here we come! In this class, we will use fine sheet to allow transparent enamels colors to shine and show off the brilliance of silver. This technique will add new life to your enamel work. Students will have the opportunity to put their own flare to each piece.
     
  • Cloisonne Faux Sure Cloisonne Faux Sure

    Project Overview

    If Cloisonné intimidates you, this is the perfect introduction to the process. We will discuss the basics of the Cloisonné, then quickly move into a new approach that will simplify the process. Additionally, you will learn how to work with transparent enamels, using silver with enamels and have the opportunity to create your own designs. Students should have working knowledge of enameling as this is an intermediate class.

    Project Overview

    Tired of the same old thing? Take a turn in your silver to create this classic yet modern pendant. You will learn the secret to transforming sterling silver sheet into a graceful moving form. In this class, you will polish your sawing, soldering and finishing skills. Students should have some soldering and sawing experience. Students will complete the pendant, but will want to refine it at home.

    Project Overview

    Create nature-inspired pieces for one-of-a-kind pendants, rings, earrings and more! This free-form technique is fun, easy and foolproof. No piece could ever be wrong! In addition to completing the pendant shown, students will have the opportunity to make several pieces that may be used after the class. Students will finish the project in class.
